Police teams to trace Falak’s kin in 4 states
Delhi Police have sent teams to Haryana, Rajashtan, Bihar and Mumbai to trace the five-year-old brother of Falak, who is still critical at AlIMS Trauma Centre since January 18.
After finding Falak’s sister Sanobar, 3, from Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, the police team believe that the boy might be in Patna. “A team has been sent to Patna to trace the kid,” said a police officer.
Sanobar was brought to Delhi and handed over to the Child Welfare Committee. The committee reunited her with her mother Munni Khatoon on Tuesday afternoon.
They are now sheltered at stay home for women, Nirmal Chhaya, where the committee members are counselling Munni.
Meanwhile, police teams are still unable to trace Raj Kumar alias Dilshad, who went into hiding after dodging police twice in Mumbai. The teams are camping in Mumbai for last two weeks.
The case of deceit, human-trafficking and prostitution came to light after Falak, 2, was admitted at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on January 18 with serious injuries, including human bites.
Police said Sanobar used to stay with a neighbour of Laxmi’s relative. Laxmi of Uttam Nagar was arrested on Monday on the basis statements by Munni who was traced on Sunday.
