Jewellery exhibition
Rasvihar of Chennai will present ‘New Classics’, an exhibition of fine jewellery for women, designed by Ahalya S, at Raintree Lifestyle Store, 4 Sankey Road, Opp ITC Windsor.
The exhibition will be held between 10 am and 7 pm on February 11 and 12.
Although rooted in classical tradition and inspired by Indian aesthetic, the designs are chic and elegant. Rasvihar’s store in Chennai houses some unique varieties of precious jewellery handmade by craftsmen and designed by Ahalya.
Ahalya, the creative head of Rasvihar, inspired by nature and the simple beauty of a leaf, has created the ‘Leaf Series’ jewellery. It will be available in two editions — 18 carat gold with combination of diamonds and emeralds and 18 carat gold with diamonds.
Another distinct collection that will be available is the Navratna series made in gold and the nine precious gems — diamonds, rubies, emeralds, pearls, blue sapphires, corals, yellow sapphires, cats’ eyes and garnets.
The collection will have earrings, nose rings, jhumkas, bangles, bracelets, pendants, necklaces and finger rings.
Babyrasa will present their special line of jewellery for children which has earrings, bangles, pendants, anklets, waist chains and kurta buttons for boys.
In addition to this, over 25 varieties of jhumkas will be on display.
