Make good of God-sent opportunity, says Mistry
To corner the BJP government in the State following the porngate incident, the Congress will launch a mass contact campaign to “expose economic and moral corruption” of the ruling party.
Madhusudan Mistry, State in-charge for party affairs, said: “We will launch a mass contact programme in all 224 Assembly constituencies of the State from March 1.”
Mistry said the party has asked the State unit to make use of this “God-sent opportunity” and campaign aggressively against the government. Another Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi described the BJP as a supermarket where a “spectrum of immorality and irregularity is available under one roof.” Commenting on the incident, Singhvi said: “In the temple of democracy (Assembly), you have pornography.”
He added: “In the supermarket of BJP, immorality is available in Karnataka, irregularity in Gujarat, corruption in Uttarakhand and interference of Hindutva outfits in Madhya Pradesh.”
