Chanakya awards for 10 B’lore firms

Bangalore, February 11 2012, DHNS:

Public Relations Council of India has announced 6th national Chanakya awards for 2012. Forty independent public relation organisations, including 10 companies in the City, will be honoured.

The awards are as follows: Communicator of the year – Telefilms to Ravikiran from RK Productions; entrepreneur of the year to Giriyappa K from Dairy Rich; publisher of the year to Nagasundar from Geethanjali Printers; business excellence in HR to V M Chamola from HAL; academic communication to Dr B K Ravi from Bangalore University and Dr Vani M N from NMKRV College for Women; academic excellence to Dr B A Anuradha from Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies and executive leadership to D Ashok from BHEL. Hall of fame in PR has been awarded to Dr S T Ramachandra from Canara Bank and Dr K R Venugopal from  College of Engineering.  The awards will be presented at an event in Mumbai on February 13.
