Hot John loses cool, slaps fan in Mangalore
It is incredible to see what starstruck fans can do when they come face-to-face with their favourite actors.
A girl in Mangalore was so ecstatic when John Abraham walked past her that she tried to grab his arm and bite him! The shocked actor reacted by slapping her.
The incident occurred during the inauguration of Euro Gold Jewellery showroom and Asmi Diamond showroom at Kankanady on Sunday.
The inauguration was scheduled for 10.30 am, but eager fans started gathering in front of the showroom at 10 am itself.
By noon, there were as many as thousand spirited, sloganeering fans in front of the showrooms with colourful balloons and crackers.
All hell broke lose when John arrived at 12.15 pm. As soon as he alighted from his car, the fans rushed to catch a glimpse of the star making it near impossible for the police and private bodyguards to control the crowd.
The police soon had to resort to lathi charge to disperse the crowd. Undeterred, some fans pushed their way through to shake hands with the actor, who was forced to use his muscle power too to push some of the fans away.
At this point, a girl tried to grab John and bite him, and was at the receiving end of the ‘memorable’ slap.
The actor later managed to get inside the showroom and inaugurate it. Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda’s wife Datty inaugurated the kids section. A press meet that was scheduled post the inauguration was cancelled.
Despite the real-life drama, the fans still followed the actor through the day and even called it “memorable”.
