Bagchi is new MindTree Chairman

MindTree announced that Vice Chairman Subroto Bagchi will be the new Chairman with effect from April 1.
Briefing reporters, current Chairman Alfred Hieronimus said the time has come for a “full time” chairman to take over the reigns. “A year ago, we went through troubled waters.
On business side, there was a loss of focus and strategy. The entry and exit from the mobile business had hurt our profitability. It was also a critical period due to the exit of Ashok Soota…. But we have made major improvement in the last one year. We have bagged one big account and crossed US$100 million in one quarter. Our strategy is also becoming clearer and we are gearing up to achieving our goals, he added.
