VTU tennis tourney: RVCE, MSRIT win
RVCE, Bangalore, beat Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering by 2-1 to win the VTU inter-college tennis tournament in the men’s category held here recently.
In the women’s category, MSRIT beat RVCE by 2-0 to emerge champions in the tournament.
In the men’s category Nikhil of RVCE lost the first match to Changappa of VVCE. However, team-mate Nitesh turned the tables on VVCE by winning against Rohith Srinath. In the deciding match of the final, Nikhil and Nitesh joined to beat Rohit Srinath and Changappa by 8-6.
In the women’s section, MSRIT players Raveena Shetty and Akshatha B soared to an easy win against Pooja and Sushma of RVCE.

Women’s category
