JOIN USA couple and three persons died in two separate accidents in the District, the City police said. In the first incident, a couple died when a canter rammed into their two wheeler on NH 4 near Kumbarahalli.
The dead are Nagaraju, 40 and Jayamma, 35. The injured were admitted to the Jalappa Hospital In another incident, a two-wheeler rider died on Kolar-Bangarpet Road near Dimba Village, police said. The dead is Krishnappa of Siddhanahalli, police officials added.
Vehicle stolen
A two wheeler parked on the premises of the Zilla Panchayat was stolen on Monday. The two-wheeler belonged to the senior assistant director of the Information Department.
He was away to attend the progress review meeting at the Zilla Panchayat.
When he returned from the meeting, he realised the vehicle was missing. A complaint has been registered at the Galapete Police Station.
