A 28-year-old doctor was allegedly assaulted by occupants of a car after their vehicles collided in south-east Delhi.
The incident took place in New Friends Colony and the victim has been identified as Faraz Ul Hassan, a research officer at AIIMS.
He was on his way to the hospital. when a car collided with his vehicle near Surya Hotel.
“He asked the driver of the other car to come out. The driver then allegedly attacked him with the gear lock of his car. Hassan was hit on his head," a senior police official said.
He was taken to a nearby hospital. The accused driver fled, added the official.
