<p>Janasheela Trust, a unit of Allcargo Logistics Limited, has invited applications from students of Dakshina Kanna, who are pursuing studies in Standard VIII and above and hailing from economically poor background, for scholarship for the academic year 2012-13. <br /><br /></p>.<p>According to a press release, the students should be studying in high school, PUC, degree, diploma, ITI or post graduation. The students must be pursuing their education in government schools or colleges. The Trust plans to give scholarships to over 500 students. <br /><br />The release said the students should have scored above 70 per cent marks and should have excelled in sports and cultural activities. Preference will be given to meritorious and physically-challenged children as well. The scholarship is an attempt to motivate the children from economically poor background to excel in studies. <br /><br />The application forms are available at Janasheela Trust, C-201, Kodial Mansion, Vishal Nursing Home Road, Mangalore.
