Engg student found hanging

An engineering student was found hanging at his house in Channasandra on Saturday evening.

The victim, R Shyam, 21, was doing his engineering at the MVJ College of Engineering. He was living with his brother in a rented house in Channasandra.

The suicide came to light when his brother returned from work.

Mason killed in accident

Shivaraj Simpi, 39, a mason, was killed after a speeding two-wheeler hit him in Mico Layout, on Friday. Simpi hailed form Dharwad and had come to the City to eke out a living.

The accident occurred when he was crossing the road. He was rushed to a hospital where he died. The rider of the two-wheeler has been arrested,
police said.
