<p>Bangalore is all set for another Jnana Degula, the city’s premier education fair, being organised by Deccan Herald for the fourth year in succession. The event is to be held on May 26 and 27, at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, from 10 am to 8 pm. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The two-day event has attracted large sections of those connected with academics, in its earlier editions, as it is a one-stop shop to find all the top institutions in Karnataka converging at one place. It has been hailed as the perfect forum for students and parents to interact first-hand with academicians and subject experts. <br /><br />May 26 and 27 will see the participation of many universities and institutions offering the whole gamut of courses. Institutions offering courses in agriculture to medicine and engineering to ayurveda will meet at one place. The main focus will be on MBA, engineering, hotel management, media, finance, communications and medicine.<br /><br />Apart from academic seminars, the pre-counselling sessions for CET / Comed-K students will be an added attraction, this year. The Sambhram group is organising mock tests for engineering students, the results of which will be announced soon after. <br /><br />This test will help students gauge their aptitude for engineering. Most participating institutions are offering scholarships for meritorious students. SRN Adarsha College will provide free education for two years for students who have secured 80% and above in SSLC. Hundred such scholarships are to be given away at the event.
