China, Afghanistan vow to fight terror

 China and Afghanistan Friday vowed to jointly fight terrorism and organised crime.

Both sides expressed "strong rejection" of terrorism and organized crime, a joint statement issued here after talks between Chinese President Hu Jintao and visiting Afghan President Hamid Karzai said.

They agreed to intensify cooperation to prevent diseases and natural disasters, Xinhua reported. President Karzai visited China June 5-8, during which he also attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
