Other than few prominent Delhi University colleges, which are not witnessing rush even after the second cut-off list in their commerce courses, most colleges have filled their seats in several courses except Hindi (H) and Sanskrit (H).

The last day for admissions through the second list is July 2. The colleges are already announcing admissions in most of their courses.

“Admissions for most of the courses are already full. Admissions to History (H), Maths (H), Political Science (H), English (H), Botany (H) and BSc Life Sciences (H) have been closed for general category,” a Ramjas College official said.

BCom (H and Prog) may require a dip of 0.25 per cent in the third list, though there are seats left for Hindi (H) and Sanskrit (H) courses,” added the official.

A similar pattern is seen in Hans Raj College, where officials said apart from Hindi (H) and Sanskrit (H), admissions to other courses may not require a third list.

Shri Ram College Of Commerce have already closed its admissions after the second list. Hindu College, Miranda House College, Kirori Mal College and Daulat Ram College may not come out with a third cut-off list at all.

In Khalsa College, other than BSc Chemistry (H) there may not be a third list for other subjects.  A DU official said third cut-off list of several courses will come out from off campus colleges.

In South Campus colleges – Jesus and Mary Convent College (JMC), Gargi College and Lady Shri Ram College – admissions to most of the courses in the general category have been closed.

While JMC is planning to put a third list for only its Hindi (H) course, Gargi will be putting it up for its Philosophy (H) and BCom (H).
