Sammscrithi begins at MMC&RI on Friday

After enthralling crowds with festivals such as Parivarthan and Abhivyakth during the last two years, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute is preparing to host ‘Sammscrithi’, a state-level inter-collegiate cultural fest from September 28 to 30.

The three-day fest would be held at the Platinum Jubilee Auditorium, J K Grounds, and medical and degree colleges from across the state have been invited to participate. Deccan Herald is the media partner for the Sammscrithi.

Winners of the glittering fashion show ‘Alankrith’ scheduled on September 30 would take home a cash prize of Rs 15,000. Other events with mega cash prizes include Rs 9,000 for fusion night, Rs 6,000 for treasure hunt, Rs 5,000 for medical quiz, Rs 3,000 for group singing and Rs 1,500 for movie making.

On September 29

Medical quiz, painting, group singing, Hindi antakshari, T-shirt painting, drama, photo marathon, creative writing Kannada, Jam English, English poetry, verbattle, fusion night.

On September 30

Dumb charades, duet singing, mock press, Jam Hindi, face painting, collage, creative writing Hindi, Kannada poetry, medical crossword, greeting card making, mime and fashion show.
