Pak frees 15 fishermen

Chandigarh, Nov 13, 2012, DHNS: 1:01 IST
Fifteen Indian fishermen arrested for violation of maritime boundaries by the Pakistan Coast Guard from the Arabian Sea about two years ago were released from Pakistani jails late on Monday night. All these fishermen reached their homeland on Deepavali on Tuesday after being repatriated through the land transit route of Attari-Wagah border in Punjab. But their repatriation wasn’t without another crisis when their Lahore-bound bus collided with a speeding truck at Jehanian.
