Four hurt in Deepavali mishaps

From eight-year-old to 40 years, four people were injured in Deepavali related mishaps in the city.

The victims have been identified as Mohammed Shabbeer-Ulla-Khan, eight year-old son of Saif-Ulla-Khan and Darshan, nine years, of Udayagiri, Santosh, 24 of Martikyatanahalli in Jayapura hobli in the district and Ameer Siddiqui, 40 of Jayalakshmipuram.

Shabeer suffered a hit in the eye while watching a fire cracker bust. He is being treated at K R Hospital.

Santosh sustained burns on his hand when the flower pot burst. He is being treated at a private hospital in T K Layout.

Hunsur too

A boy suffered burns on his hands when the atom bomb he lighted burst all of a sudden at Neralakuppe village in the taluk in Mysore district. The boy is identified as Bharat, 10, son of Mallesh. He was treated at a nearby hospital.
