Orchid show at Lalbagh

A two-day flower show dedicated to orchids will be organised at Lalbagh on Saturday.

Orchid Society of Karnataka, which is organising the event in co-ordination with the Department of Horticulture, said the show aimed at creating awareness about orchid cultivation and conservation.

The Society will also sell orchids and accessories at the venue where training on orchid cultivation will be conducted.

Besides, a book entitled ‘Beginners guide to grow Orchids’ will be released on the occasion.
