Poojary opens facilities at Kudroli temple
The Jaya C Suvarna Kalyana Mantappa, Raghavendra K Sadhan Bhojana Shalay and the Glass house elevator was inaugurated by former Union Minister B Janardhan Poojary at Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra (Kudroli) on Saturday.
“People should never hesitate while doing charity. They should have an attitude of giving back to the society. God will definitely bless the person and his family,” said Poojary.
There are many who do not have the capacity to give money as charity. However, they give their time and service. This is also equally important, he stressed. He gave details on how the devotees who pledged their services to Gokarnanatha Kshetra were blessed.
Karnataka Vishwa Karma Samaja President K P Nanjundi said that he will donate a chariot made of gold to the temple after he finishes paying off his loans.
Akhila Bharatha Billavara Maha Mandala President Jaya C Suvarna presided over the programme.
Twin sisters and singers Sheela and Shaila were felicitated at the programme.
The Bhojana Shalay has an area of 7,500 sq feet and AC Hall has an area of 6,000 sq ft witha seating capacity of 1000. The glass lift has a unique design. One can see the entire Gokarnanatha Kshetra from the elevator.
