Datta Paduke darshan on Nov 25, says DC
The devotees who take part in Dattamala Abhiyana organised by Sri Ram Sene at Guru Dattatreya Baba Budan Swami Darga on November 25, will be allowed to have the ‘darshan’ of ‘Paduke’ from 8 am to 4 pm, said Deputy Commissioner and Bababudan Swami Darga Advisory Committee President S T Anjan Kumar.
Speaking to media persons on Thursday, he said that the devotees wearing datta mala should submit ‘Iru mudi’ near the entrance of the cave in a particular counter meant for the purpose.
There will be provisions to perform rituals on the lines of those performed prior to 1975, as per the order by the Endowment Commissioner dated March 25, 1989.
The vehicles carrying devotees to the Peeta will be allowed to move from Check post on November 25, between 7 am to and 12 noon. None of the vehicles will be allowed on the route post noon.
The drivers traveling to the Peeta will have to be cautious while driving as the road leading to Inam Dattatreya Peeta is under construction. The use of camera, video camera, mobile and plastics is completely banned.
The administration had made arrangements to provide drinking water, shed, medical service, bus and toilet facilities to devotees who arrive for ‘darshan,’ said the Deputy Commissioner.
