Ponty aide held from U'khand home

Sacked Uttarakhand Minorities Commission chairman Sukhdev Singh Namdhari was arrested from his Uttarakhand residence for his involvement in the gunfight between liquor baron Ponty Chadha and his brother Hardeep Singh Chadha in a property dispute that led to both the brothers’ deaths on November 17.
Namdhari however claimed that he was asked by Delhi Police to join the investigation.
“A special team was sent to his residence in Bajpur area at Udhamsingh Nagar district in Uttarakhand from where he was arrested,” said deputy commissioner of police (south) Chhaya Sharma.
