Sixteen-year-old Nischal Nadhamuni from Bangalore scored 100 percent in a standard test for admission to colleges in the US, Mallya Aditi International School said Saturday.

"Nischal, who is reading in Class 11 in our school, got 2400 out of 2400 in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), a standardised test for college admissions in the US, by scoring 800 points each in Mathematics, Critical Reading and Writing subjects," the school said in a statement here.

Conducted by the College Board, a non-profit organisation in the US, SAT entrance test was developed by the Educational Testing Service to assess a student's readiness for college.

"Nischal's performance in the 10th standard public exams conducted by the AICE Cambridge Board early this year was outstanding, getting an A plus or above 90 percentile in all nine subjects," the statement recalled.

An avid debater, Nischal participated in inter-school debates and MUN (Model United Nations) conferences.

"Nischal is a keen tennis player and enjoyed the sport for seven years, playing in many AITA (All India Tennis Association) tournaments at the state and national levels," the statement added.

Nischal also founded SchoolWorks, a project intending to harness the power of social media and volunteers to help state-run schools across the country.

With his father's assistance, Nischal created a website -- www.schoolworks.co.in -- using technologies like PhP, Google Maps, Facebook Connect and MySQL.
