West Indies scored a comfortable 75-run win over Bangladesh in the fourth one-day international at the Shere Bangla National Stadium here on Friday.
Bangladesh restricted Windies to a modest 211 for nine in the allotted 50 overs but the hosts batsmen failed to deliver to be bowled out for a paltry 136 in the 35th over. The five-match series is now levelled at 2-2.
Bangladesh had a disastrous start as their top five batsmen were back to the pavilion with score reading just 13. After the poor start, skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah stitched a 74-run partnership before Narine dismissed Rahim for 27.
After Rahim’s dismissal, the match didn’t last for long and Bangladesh innings wrapped up at 136. Mahmudullah fell short of partners and remained unbeaten on 56.
