Seminar on film copyrights

 Ministry of Human Resources Development Chair on Intellectual Property Rights, Centre for Intellectual Property Rights and Advocacy, National Law School of India University, Bangalore, in association with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, New Delhi, have organised a two-day workshop on “Copyright Issues in Recording and Film Picture Industry,” in the City on December 11 and 12.

Union Minister for Human Resource Development, stakeholders in film industry such as producers, directors, lyricists, performers and exhibitors are expected to attend the event.

Well-known persons from film industry such as Hamasalekha (music director), Malavika (actor), Lahari Velu (director, Lahari Recording Company), Ravi Kottarkara (vice-president, Film Federation of India, Hyderabad), K C N Chandrashekhar (former president of South Indian Film Chambers of Commerce), Nagabharana (director and actor) are expected to speak at the seminar.
