Corpse found in gunny bag

 Residents of Garudacharpalya were in for a shock late Tuesday night, when they spotted a gunny bag on a vacant land set on fire.

When the residents tried to douse the fire, they were taken aback to see a corpse in the gunny bag. They immediately alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Bowring Hospital.

According to eyewitnesses, two men on a bike threw a gunny bag on a vacant land. They later set it on fire and fled. The body is said to be that of a man in his early 20s. However, the identity of the dead is yet to be established, the police said.
