JOIN USThe legendary American rock band Guns N’ Roses took the City by storm on Wednesday when they gave their debut performance at the Gurgaon.
Celebrated worldwide as one of the most important rock acts in music history, Guns N’ Roses consists of Axl Rose (legendary singer/songwriter), DJ Ashba (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Tommy Stinson (bass), Richard Fortus (guitar), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboards) and Frank Ferrer (drums). This band was formed in
Los Angeles in the year 1985.
They have to their credit hits like Welcome To The Jungle, Paradise City, It’s So Easy, Live and Let Die and Think About You.
Post the rocking event, Dizzy, said, “It has been a life long dream of mine to visit
India. I’ve always been fascinated by its ancient culture and influential people. So,
finally the wait is almost over.”
Another band member Richard, added, “There were very few places in the world left for me to cross off of my ‘must see before I die’ list.
India was at the top of that list and I am thrilled that we played here. I was always fascinated by the culture, music, art and films of India.”
Delhi in the recent past has seen many outstanding performances, including Enrique Iglesias, Pitbul, Sean Paul and many. Although initially there were security concerns in Delhi, but now it seems the people of Delhi are all geared up to welcome all international artists.
Before playing in Gurgaon, the band has already performed in Bangalore and Mumbai.
