When Meerut-based girl Maahi Hussain set out to live a day in her favourite star Shilpa Shetty's shoes, little did she know she would be visiting the actress' house!

Shilpa welcomed the 18-year-old to her house here, and chatted with her in her lounge as part of UTV Stars' show "Live My Life 2".

Maahi has several pictures of Shilpa, and knows a lot about the actress.

From sipping on hot water to hitting the gym, Maahi did everything that Shilpa does.
She even met Shilpa's close friends, designer Nandita Mahtani and business associate, Kiran Bawa.

Both Nandita and Kiran were more than happy to meet the girl, and they shared insights about Shilpa. Nandita even gifted the girl a designer dress in Shilpa’s favourite pattern and Kiran ensured that she got a hair spa treatment and styled her hair exactly like Shilpa.

However, the highlight of Maahi’s day was a meeting with Shilpa's husband, businessman Raj Kundra. He sent her to their house, where Shilpa surprised her.
The show featuring Shilpa and her fan will go on air Sunday.

Rekha's fashion date

Veteran actress Rekha, known for her bespoke style, met designer Manish Malhotra at his store here. He says it is always a pleasure to meet her and discuss her movies and costumes.

"Rekhaji at my flagship store in Mumbai this morning. And whenever we meet we discuss all her movies and her costumes, all which I know by heart," tweeted Malhotra, who is known for styling actresses like Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in their movies.

Sonakshi's fashion sense comes handy

Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who was into fashion designing before she stepped into filmdom, doesn't mind voicing her opinion to designers, who work on her look for movies.

"We work with such established and trusted people from the industry, so my opinion is not required much. But sometimes, if I don't approve or so, I do voice my opinion. In fact for 'Dabangg 2', I have retained my nose ring," Sonakshi told IANS.
Sonakshi is currently busy promoting "Dabangg 2", releasing Friday.
