Kurian wins Accumulator
Major Prince Kurian of Remount Veterinary Corps & Centre (RVC & C), Meerut, piloting Volunteer, clinched the Novice Jumping Accumulator title in the Bangalore Horse Show (BHS) class held simultaneously with the Junior National Equestrian Championship at the Agram grounds on Friday.
Kurian won the event clearing the eight barriers to pocket 44 points in 38.50 seconds. Major JS Negi of Delhi Area, astride Arsenal, finished second after eight good jumps that fetched him 44 points (39.28s). Naik Rohtash of Army Service Corps Centre & College (ASC C & C), atop Golden, bagged the third position at 44 points in 39.69 seconds.
In the JNEC Children I Jumping Fault & Out Individual event, Hriday Chhadha of Embassy International Riding School (EIRS), riding Lodrino, won the title with 26 points.
