Dooravani Cricketers (2) scored an emphatic 416-run win over Coles Cricket Club in the Group I Division V league.

Batting first, Dooravani amassed a huge 484 for nine in 50 overs, courtesy hundreds by Das (141) and Anil (103). Charan made an unbeaten 56. In reply, Coles could only manage 68 before getting rolled over in a mere 12.5 overs. Prem and Bharat grabbed two wickets apiece.

In the first match, Super CC defeated Eminents Cricketers by 18 runs.
Taking first strike, Super CC were bowled out for 223 in 45.5 overs with Manjunath’s half-century (59) being the highlight.

Darshan (3/21) and Dheeraj’s (3/37) bowling efforts completed formalities for Super CC.

Easy for Carmel

A strong all-round performance ensured a massive 246-run win for Carmel School, Basaveshwaranagar, over Cathedral School in the KSCA under-14 (Division II) tournament for BT Ramaiah Shield.

Half-centuries by MA Srinidhi (86) and Chaitanya Gowda (93) powered Carmel to 360 for nine, and Arjun then grabbed six wickets (6-52) as Carmel restricted Cathedral to 231 all out in 39 overs for an easy win.

Carmel High School, Basaveshwaranagar: 360/9 in 50 overs (MA Shrinidhi 86, S Chaitanya Gowda 93; J Kevin 3-43) bt Cathedral High School: 231 all out in 39 overs (Amithansh 89; Arjun 6-52).

Sindhi High School: 225 all out in 48.3 overs (Pavan VR 62, Prajwal 30; Ram Chandran 3-44) bt Sri Aurobindo Memorial School, B-91: 45 all out in 15.4 overs (Vasuki 5-16, Sanjay 3-18).

Vidya Vardhaka Sangha: 249 all out in 38.5 overs (Abhay 111; Koushik 3-35) bt St Ann’s Public School: 182 all out in 39.2 overs [ Koushik 102; Tejas 5-21).
