Eshwarappa, son appear before Lokayukta DySP

Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa and his son K E Kantesh, accused in a disproportionate assets case, appeared before Lokayukta DySP P O Shivakumar on Monday.

They visited the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Lokayukta at 10:20 am along with their counsel Ashok G  Bhat. The BJP leader and Kantesh  were given questionnaires directing them to reply within 10 days.

The district Lokayukta Special Court had granted anticipatory bail to Eshwarappa and Kantesh on December 31. The Court had also directed them to appear before the investigation officer within 10 days.

Eshwarappa’s daughter-in-law Shalini, also accused in the case, had appeared earlier before the investigation officer on January 3.
