The audience were taken through a nostalgic journey down melody lane with the songs of Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar and Mukesh.

Sangeeta from Mumbai began the programme with Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya followed by Anil Bajpai, a talented singer with the voice of Mohammed Rafi, crooning Dil Ka Bhanwar Kare.

Vinod’s Jai Jai Shiv Shankar had many senior citizens dancing, who were joined by young ladies. He also rendered Chala Jaata Hoon with perfect Kishore Kumar-style yodelling.
Anil Bajpai and Nagachandrika Bhat from Bangalore had everyone clapping through the song Diwana Hua Badal.

Abhi Na Jao Chodkar, Phir Miloge Kabhi is Baat, Dil Ki Jharonkaon Mein by Anil Bajpai and Choodi Nahi Mera, Ye Jo Mohabbat Hai and Pal Pal Dil by Vinod Seshadri.

The highlight of the show was an excellent instrumental version of Gulabhi Aankhen with Raju on the saxophone leading the orchestra.

It received a thundering applause from the audience. The talented musicians were members of Nayan Shah’s  ‘Evergreen Orchestra’ from Calicut.

The musical show, with lively anchoring by Premkumar from Mumbai, had the audience craving for more.
