Deshbandhu score over BMS in CPL

 Deepak Singh and Yogesh Kashyap turned in fine performances as Deshbandhu College, Delhi crushed BMS by ten wickets in the College Premier League T20 tournament here at the Jain International Residential School grounds on Tuesday.

Batting first, BMS’ innings came a cropper as they were bowled out for a meagre 49 in 14.3 overs. Deepak Singh took three for seven while Yogesh Sharma bagged two for 11.
Man of the match Kashyap then slammed a 24-ball 34 as Deshbandhu wiped out the target in just 5.1 overs without any damage.

In another match, Rohit Rayudu hit an unbeaten 60 to power Bhavans Vivekananda College, Hyderabad to a comprehensive nine-wicket win over CMR.

Brief scores: BMS: 49 all out in 14.3 overs (Deepak Singh 3-7, Yogesh Sharma 2-11) lt to Deshbandhu College, Delhi: 52 for no loss 5.1 overs (Yogesh Kashyap 34). Man of the match: Yogesh Kashyap.
CMR: 125/7 in 16 overs (Deepak 48; Dharani Kumar 2-20, Gokul Chandra 2-24) lt to Bhavans Vivekananda College, Hydearbad: 127/1 in 11.2 overs (Rohit Rayudu 60 n.o., Naveen Kumar 38 n.o.). Man of the match: Rohti Rayudu.

Manipal University: 142/6 in 15 overs (Ganesh K 40, Rohit Desai 35; Sumit Agarwal 2-26, Yashraj Sharma 2-18) bt (via Super Over) Jain College, Belgaum: 142/5 in 15 overs (Sumith Agarwal 29, Anshul Agnivesh 28; Ravi Pilley 3-25).

Super Over: Jain College: 11/1 bt Manipal University: 0/2. Man of the match: Ravi Pilley.
