BJP leaders misusing Speaker's office: HDK

JD(S) State president and former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy has accused the BJP leaders of misusing the Speaker’s office to remain in power.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, he said the BJP is using the Speaker office for political gains.

It’s unfortunate that the Speaker, who has to provide protection to 224 legislators, is not accessible. Besides, what’s the motive behind keeping his whereabouts so confidential, he questioned.

The BJP leaders are performing political drama than attending to people’s problems. They are misusing tax payers’ money.

‘Adverse effect’

They are not even aware of the adverse impact on the public due to the on-going political tussle between Yeddyurappa and Jagadish Shettar, Kumaraswamy remarked.
