Corporate Trophy from February 1
The BCCI Corporate tournament for the Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy will be held at Indore, Nagpur, Pune and Raipur from February 1 to 8.
A total of 16 teams have been drawn into four groups of four each. Each team will play the other three in its group. The respective group toppers will qualify for the semifinals.
Indore will host a semifinal (on February 6) and the final (on Feb 8) while the other last-four match will be played at Raipur on February 6.
The winning team will pocket a cash prize of Rs 1 crore and the runners-up Rs 50 lakh. The losing semifinalists will be richer by Rs 12.5 lakh each.
Canara Bank, led by paceman NC Aiyappa, and State Bank of Mysore, captained by former State Ranji player Thilak Naidu, are the two teams from Bangalore taking part in the tournament.
