Praneeth, Thulasi hold egde

B Sai Praneeth and PC Thulasi will be among the top players featuring in the ONGC all-India Senior-ranking badminton tournament beginning at the K Raheja Stadium here on Tuesday.

More than 400 players from 21 states are in the fray in the competition, which ends on Saturday.
The tournament is being conducted by the Padukone Sports Management under the aegis of the Karnataka Badminton Association (KBA) and Badminton Association of India (BAI). 

The qualifying rounds are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, while the main draw matches commence on Thursday.

Sai Praneeth along with other youngsters such as Sourabh Varma, Prannoy H S, Pratul Joshi and seasoned campaigners like Arvind Bhat and Anup Sridhar will battle it out in the men’s singles.
In addition to Thulasi, Neha Pandit, Trupti Murgunde and Tanvi Lad will be the players to watch out for in the women’s singles.

London Olympian V Diju will team up with Alwin Francis in the men’s doubles.
