<p>The High Court, on Wednesday, directed Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and Lake Development Authority (LDA) to file a technical feasibility report whether they can restore the Pantharapalya lake.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Hearing a plea by residents of Pramod Layout seeking to develop a portion of the lake bed into a lung space, the division bench comprising acting Chief Justice K Sreedhar Rao and Justice Abdul Nazeer directed the BBMP and LDA to find out how much of the lake land has been encroached and how much is remaining. <br /><br />The bench asked the BBMP to conduct a survey and report about it. It has also directed the government to file a technical feasible report whether they can restore the lake.<br /></p>
