India is making a huge mark now in the international film fraternity, feels leading Indian actor Anil Kapoor.

"India is making a huge mark now. There are four films with Indian presence which are contenders for the Oscars," Kapoor told mediapersons while inaugurating fashion designer Raghavendra Rathore's couture tailoring store, Raghavendra Rathore-Jodhpur, here Sunday.

In a career spanning over 30 years, Kapoor has made a mark globally with films like Danny Boyle's (2008) Academy Award-winning "Slumdog Millionaire," for which he shared the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Popular for his pairing with veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi in movies like "Mr. India", Kapoor said he would love to work with the actress again in a unique role.

"I would love to work with her again and I am sure we will. It has to be something which we have never done before - a role, a script which we have never done. I don't want to repeat what we have done. Of course, we have to play our ages," said Kapoor.

Kapoor, who will be next seen in "Race 2" and "Shootout at Wadala", said the present scenario in the India's movie business is a "great time for newcomers".

"It is a great time for newcomers. There is Imran Khan, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth, Ranbir Kapoor... Today's generation loves to make their own choices and take their own decisions and when they are really stuck they come to ask for advice," said Kapoor.
