Sourabh, Preemanth sparkle for Presidency

So­urabh M and Preemanth JG struck fine centuries to propel Presidency School, RT Nagar to a resounding 321-run win over Carmel High School, Padmanabhanagar in the BT Ramaiah under-14 (Division I) tournament here.

Batting first, Presidency put on a mammoth 420 for three in 50 overs after Sourabh (143) and Preemanth (142 not out) sent Carmel’s bowlers on a leather hunt.

In reply, Carmel were bundled out for a meagre 99 runs in 23 overs as Presidency’s K Bharath (2/15), Chetan (2/19) and Azharuddin (2/13) scalped two wickets apiece.


In a low-scoring encounter, Presidency School, RT Nagar pulled off a stunning 25-run win over Frank Anthony Public School.


Batting first, Presidency were bundled out for a mere 130 and it looked like FAPS would have little trouble scaling the target.

However, Presidency’s bowlers put on a discliplined show to bowl FAPS out for 105 in 41.4 overs

KHS Adarsh Vidyalaya: 43 all out in 18 overs (H Jeswanth 2-10, Aiyappa CR 3-0, Abhishek Poll 2-9) lt to Bishop Cotton Boys’ School: 46/2 in 8.3 overs.


St Joseph’s Indian High School: 230 all out in 47.5 overs (Kiran Kumar T 42, P Prajwal 40, BA Mohith 28, Akash Deshpande 43, Vijaya Bhargav 31; S Jagannath 4-25, Mahesh Reddy 3-56, Smaran J 2-32) bt Sudarshan Vidyamandir: 201/9 in 50 overs (Shaashank Ganesh 115; Sankalp SS 2-32, Ramesh P 2-20).

Presidency School, RT Nagar: 130 all out in 48.2 overs (SM Rajkumar 39, Ayush K Shetty 33; Risheketh Prabhakar 4-21) bt Frank Anthony Public School: 105 all out in 41.4 overs (Mithesh Madan 52; Amith U 2-24, Yasha S 2-23, Akash Kumar 4-23).
