Kothari claims six as SJBHS cruise home

Rithik Kothari claimed six wickets to bowl St Joseph’s Boys’ High School to a comprehensive 161-run win over Max Muller School in the Dell-KSCA under-14 tournament (Division I) for the BTR Shield here.

Riding on Sahil Suhail’s 64 and Derek Mathias’ 52, SJBHS stacked up an impressive 278 all out in 50 overs. In reply, Max Muller could muster a meagre 117 all out in 33.5 overs with Kothari grabbing 6/16.

Brief scores: St Joseph’s Boys’ High School: 278 all out in 50 overs (Sahil Suhail 64, Mohith Damani 32, Kushagra Dhawan 33, Derek Mathias 52; G Vinay 3-63) bt Max Muller School: 117 all out in 33.5 overs (Pavan Raj 47; Sachin Anthony 2-8, Rithik Kothari 6-16).


Carmel High School, Padmabhanagar: 182/9 in 50 overs (Akshil A Vasisht 32, Viplav 29, Ashish 34; Sparsh Sumani 2-35, Mallikarjun GP 5-31) lt to Jain International Residential School: 184/7 in 36.1 overs (Sparsh Sumani  30, Karthik 40, Prateek 52; Sanjeev Vasist 3-44, D Koushik 2-10).

National High School: 284 all out in 47.3 overs (S Naresha 37, Akshay R 37, Prithvi Raj M R 86, Lohith Gowda 34; Aneesh A 2-25, Kirthan P 3-40) bt Bethany High School: 233/9 in 50 overs (Aamey M 26, Jayanth N 30, Adithya M 32, Mohd. Saif 43 n.o.; S Naresha 2-41, Nachikete 2-31, Lohith 3-36).

Holy Saint English School: 93 all out in 44.2 overs (Sourab M 3-12, Chethan 3-15) lt to Presidency School, RT Nagar: 97/2 in 11.2 overs (J Sourabh 32, Premanth JG 25 n.o.; Shishir 2-48).

Sudarshan Vidyamandir: 205 all out in 49 overs (Shashank Ganesh 113; Aman Mehtani 3-40, Sahir Chhabra 2-33, Abhiram Vadlamani 2-39) lt to Vidyashilp Academy: 208/4 in 35.3 overs (Abhiram Vadlamani 65, Gunshiv Sisodia 60 n.o., Harshal 36 n.o.; Prajwal Kumble 2-27, S Jaganath 2-33).
