JOIN USDoddamuniyappa, 50, a resident of Yarthiganahalli and working as a supervisor on contract, was found dead in suspicious circumstances at the ITC factory, in Bengaluru International Airport police limits, on Saturday.
Police said a few workers noticed his body hanging on the first floor of the gymnasium room in the evening. Some blood stains were also spotted near the body.
Police investigating the case are unsure if he hanged himself, or someone murdered him.
Wife suspects colleague
Doddamuniyappa’ wife said she suspected the involvement of another worker, Ashok, in her husband’s death.
Her husband would often tell her that he was tortured by Ashok, she said and added: “My husband was soft spoken and a teetotaller, and the police should arrest the culprit who murdered him.”
