JOIN USVehicular movement near Mysore Bank Circle, Chickpet, City Market and Ananda Rao circle is expected to be affected on Wednesday in view of the Karaga procession of Sri Dharmarayaswamy.
Traffic police have imposed a ban on parking and movement of all types of vehicles on the following roads:
* Movement of all types of vehicles will be banned on the following roads till the Karaga procession returns to the temple: Pailwan Krishnappa lane; OTC Road; Nagaratpet Main Road and the road connecting City Market and Avenue Road till Mysore Bank Circle. The alternative route for commuters is: SJP Road- Town Hall-Kempe Gowda Road.
* Vehicles can take right turn at A S Char Road on Mysore Road and use Briyand Circle and Rayan Circle.
* Vehicles from Mysore Road can take a right turn at Briyand Circle and move on Rayan Circle-Medical College circle- Prof Shivashankar Rao Circle - JC Road and further.
* Vehicles from Medical College Circle and moving towards City Market can use Prof Shivashankar Rao Circle and move on JC Road once the procession enters Avenue Road.
* Vehicles moving towards Mysore Road using BVK Iyengar Road would be temporarily restricted at Chickpet Circle till the procession enters the police road.
* Vehicles moving on Cottonpet Main Road will be diverted at Shanthala Circle till the procession enters the Akkipet Main Road.
The vehicles would be allowed to use Devaraj Urs Road (Khoday Circle), Vatal Nagaraj Road, Mysore Deviation Road, Binny Mill Road and Mysore Road.
* Vehicles on Dr TCM Rayan Road, Mill Road Junction and moving towards Cottonpet Main Road would be permitted to move on Shanthala Circle using Dr TCM Rayan Road.
* Taking a right turn for the vehicles on BVK Iyengar Road will be banned at Chickpet Circle and the vehicles will be allowed to use AS Char Street till the procession passes through Balepet Circle
* Vehicles from Mysore Bank and moving towards KG Road would be restricted temporarily at Mysore Bank Circle and Sagar Junction till the procession reaches Annammadevi temple on Subedar Chathram Road and enters Kilari Road using the same route.
* Vehicles will be restricted temporarily from moving on KG Circle using Anand Rao Circle and Sangam Galli. The vehicles can use Y Ramachandra Road.
* Vehicles from Sagar Junction and moving towards BVK Iyengar Road would be restricted, but would be permitted to use KG Road-LTP Road.
* Vehicles can also use Shanthala Circle-Devaraj Urs Road (Khodey Circle)-Vatal Nagaraj Road-Mysore Deviation Road-Binny Mill Road-Mysore Road.
* Parking facilities will be provided on the following locations: BBMP parking lot on JC Road ; Kempegowda Maharaja parking complex on KG Road ; Kempegowda parking complex on Mamoolpet and parking lot at Kempegowda bus terminus.
