JOIN USUmang Chordia finished with ten wickets as Modern Cricket Club posted a ten-wicket win over Young Lions Club in their KSCA Group I, Division II tournament for the MAT Acharya Shield.
Batting first, Modern CC scored a respectable 377 all out in 77.5 overs but it was their effort with the ball that really won them the game. They bowled Young Lions out for a mere 163 in their first innings and in the second innings they bundled them out for 222 in 44.3 overs with Umang scalping seven to add to the three he had bagged in the first innings.
Needing nine runs to win, Modern CC took 2.2 overs to complete the formalities and grab five points.
