JOIN USA 26-year-old woman alleged that she was gang raped by three persons at south east Delhi’s New Friends Colony on Thursday.
The woman lives with her husband in rented accommodation, and works as a domestic help. She claims that she had gone for work on Thursday when she was raped in a house.
“The accused threatened to kill her if she approached police, but she narrated the whole incident to her husband,” a police officer said. They later reported the matter to police after which the woman’s medical examination was conducted at AIIMS. A case of gang rape was registered after the medical examination confirmed sexual assault. No arrests have been made yet.
Nurse’s allegations
A 26-year-old nurse alleged that she was raped by a doctor on pretext of marriage at south west Delhi’s Najafgarh.
Kailash, 30, who runs a private clinic at Gumkhera, has been arrested. The woman went to the doctor with a marriage proposal on Thursday, but he refused to marry her. She approached Najafgarh police station claiming that she was being raped for the past two years.
