DH-PV CET pre-counselling programme held in city
CET pre-counselling was held at Jaganmohan Palace here on Saturday, to clarify doubts of students regarding professional courses. The programme was organised by Deccan Herald and Prajavani group for the benefit of students, who have appeared for Common Entrance Test (CET).
Details on online counselling, colleges, fees for professional courses and the scope for various fields was discussed with experts replying to students’ queries.
Hundreds of students from Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and Hassan districts participated in the programme, organised in association with Acharya Institute of Technology and ‘Just Kannada’, an e-newspaper. It was inaugurated by vice-chancellor of Karnataka State Open University M G Krishnan.
Vice-principal of JSS Medical College Dr B M Balaraj briefed students about medical courses, while assistant professor of Acharya Institute of Technology Rajeshwari spoke on various streams available for students in engineering.
Chief Nodal Officer of Karnataka Examination Authority Anand Raj spoke on CET counselling process.
