Body found

The body of a 35-year-old man was found floating in a pond at the Subramanya Swamy temple in Ulsoor on Tuesday. The priest spotted the body and alerted the police who retrieved it.

Police gave the name of the deceased as Padmanabha, a resident of Jogupalya. Padmanabha was living in a rented house with his wife Bhagyamma and son.

He was running a CD shop in a nearby lane. Padmanabha had returned home on Sunday night, but his family found him missing the next morning. They searched for him throughout the day, but to no avail.

Police suspect that deep debt might have driven Padmanabha to suicide.
