Teenager killed in accident
Bangalore: DHNS, Nov 1:

A teenager died on the spot when a speeding BMTC bus hit her while she was crossing the road near Rupena Agrahara in Madivala on Sunday.


The victim Radhika (19), was a resident of Hongasandra. The accident resulted in traffic jam for a while and angry passersby manhandled the driver, who has since been arrested by the police.

According to Traffic Inspector T Venkatesh, the driver drove the vehicle in a rash and negligent manner which led to the accident. The body was sent to Victoria Hospital for autopsy.

Murder solved

The Hennur police solved a murder case with the arrest of five persons. The accused Santosh, Chandru, M Sridhar and G Krishna are all from of Malleswaram while Harsha is from Kamakshipalya.

However, three other accused  Devaraj, Raghavendra and Anand are at large, police said.
The accused attacked two persons B R Praveen and Santosh alias Emme due to old rivalry on October 24.

Praveen was killed, while Santosh sustained major injuries.
