Hathur, Murnadu, Wanderers strike victory in day’s matches
Madikeri, Nov 4, dhns:

Hathur, Murnadu Co-operative Sports Club and Wanderers of Madikeri won in the matches held on Wednesday as part of the Kodagu district ‘A’ division hockey tourney being held in Madikeri.


Hathur team beat Blue Star team by 2-0 goals in the first match on Wednesday held as part of the tourney being organised by Coorg Hockey Association, Wanderers Sports Club and Shivaji Hockey Club at the SAI astro turf.

The second match between KSRA-Kakotuparambu and ASC teams ended in a draw. Similarly, the match between Towers and Forest Siders too ended in a draw.
In the fourth match, the Murnadu Co-operative Sports Club beat the Begur team by 3-0 goals. In the fifth match, Madikeri’s Wanderers defeated Napoklu’s Shivaji team with 1-0 goal. The match between Pragathi team of Hoddur and BBC team again ended in a draw without securing any goals.
