KSRTC buses will be allowed to ply from Raja Seat road to KSRTC bus stand from 4.30 pm to 8 am for the convenience of the general public on the back drop of Major Mangerira Muthanna circle- private bus stand concrete work.

The order will be implemented from today (Thursday) onwards.
The decision was taken on Wednesday during the meeting held between District Superintendent of Police, KSRTC Depot Manager and Police Officials. As per the Town Municipal Council resolution the buses should reach KSRTC bus stand via Sampigekatte but since the public will face problems with the buses plying through residential extensions, the order was issued for the movement of bus from Raja Seat road. The buses will ply till KSRTC bus stand till 10 am for the convenience of students specifically. KSRTC Depot Manager H P Lakshmegowda said that over 90 buses will come to the bus stand from 4.30 pm to 8 am.
Route change
The routes have been changed at various places for the convenience of the public. The changes will be enforced from today onwards. SBI Junction to Convent Junction will be one way and entry of vehicles have been prohibited from SBI junction towards Convent junction.
These vehicles can ply from SBI road-Industrial extension-Pathrika Bhavan (left turn)-Webs junction (left turn)-Race Course road. Parking has been prohibited in front of Raja Seat road- Webs junction-Sai Hockey stadium. Parking has been prohibited from in front of KSRTC bus stand-Kohinoor road-SBI junction to College road and from Pathrika Bhavan to Aravind Motors junction.
One way traffic will be allowed from Kohinoor road to Industrial extension while vehicles have been prohibited from Patrika Bhavan junction to Industrial extension.
