Children’s film festival from Nov 9

Childrens’ film festival will be held in the district between November 9 and 13, said Deputy Commissioner R Narayanaswamy.
Speaking at a meet on film festival, he said 14 award winning movies will be screened in 16 theatres in the district. Students studying in fifth to seventh standard will be given an opportunity to view the movies. The movies will be screened between 9 am and 11 am.
Before the screening of the movie, teachers should give a brief introduction on the movie to the students. Drinking water and toilet facilities will be provided at the theatres, he added.
