‘Chinnara habba’ on Nov 14

Chinnarahabba will be held on November 14 at the Government High School ground on the occasion of children's day celebration.



Addressing the mediapersons here on Tuesday Legislator C B Suresh Babu said that Makkala Metric Mela will be conducted on November 14 between 10 am and 1 pm.
Chinnaramela will be inaugurated at 3 pm at the Nehru Vedike. Litterateur Kavita Krishna will present a lecture.

Felicitation

Winners in State and international competitions will be  felicitated on the occasion. School students will present colourful cultural programme.
Child artists Ashwini Sharma, Aniruddh, Ajay Bharadwaj, Madhu Bharadwaj, Kishan, Hamsini, Shilpa, Sahana and Sai Tejeswini will present dance programme.

Deputy Commissioner C Somashekhar will inaugurate the function. SP Harsh, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Tulasi Maddineni, Zilla Panchayat president Jayamma Danappa, DDPI Mohan Kumar, DAIT Principal Prabhakar and others will be present. More than 5000 children around the taluk will participate.

Town Municipal Council president C S Ramesh, vice-president Rukminamma, Standing Committee president Krishnamurthy, District Primary Teachers’ Association President R Parashivamurthy, Block Education Officer B J Prabhu Swamy, Co-ordinating officer Siddaraju were present on the occasion.
